Cornwall has some of the best beaches in the Country if not the World. We want you to enjoy them and take away lasting memories of them. On this page we present some simple safety advise which we hope will help and inform.

Always swim between these flags. Lifeguards monitor these areas.

DANGER DO NOT enter the water

Wind  sock indicates direction of the wind

Most beaches in Cornwall are  staffed by qualified life guards  during the summer. If in doubt  about any aspect of water  safety they will be pleased to  help you. The life guards  and  lifeboats are funded by the  RNLI charity and local councils

Remember the sun tan lotion.

Keep an eye on young children  as beaches can get very busy.

Do not climb the cliffs.

It is not advisable to use toy  inflatable's and  rubber rings in  the sea.

Listen for regular safety  announcements from the life  guards

Most of all enjoy the coast and the spectacular scenery
